SYSTEMS FOR SCHOOL YEAR AND ACADEMIC CREDITS
- The Trimester System is in effect at MBTS. The Seminary School Year is divided into three terms: January-April; June-July; September-November. The seminary year begins in January and new students are normally admitted at the beginning of the first term. The second term is the "Mission Term" when the School of Trans-Cultural Mission is conducted. Graduation is held once a year at the end of the third term.
- The Normal School Week.
- Most of the classes are from Tuesday - Friday, 8 am - 1:00 pm daily (Classes in the afternoon and evening will be arranged when necessary)
- Intensive Courses. A 2-credit course in one week means classes are held from Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm daily
- The Credit System is defined according to Semester Hour. One credit is equivalent to 16 hours of classroom instruction, with 20 hours of after-class assignments. The standard load for a full-time Diploma and Bachelor level student in an 8 week period is 12 credit hours (including Practical Education) and Master level student is 10 credit hours (including Practical Education)
