DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING

Program Description
The Diploma in Christian Counseling is a systematic counseling program designed to meet the needs of working adults who want to upgrade their skills and knowledge in helping ministries.

Program Options

  Diploma in Christian Counseling (24 credits total)
  •   8 credits Skill-based courses
  •   16 credits Knowledge-based courses


  Certificate in Christian Counseling (10 credits total)
  •   8 credits Skill-based courses
  •   2 credits Knowledge-based courses

  Certificate of Marriage and Family Studies (10 credits total)
  •   10 credits marriage/family knowledge-based courses


Program Structure
Each course is held on the third Saturday of the month. Nine courses will be taught each year at both MBTS and MBTS, Klang Valley. Therefore, the diploma program can be completed within three years. Courses consist of classroom hours, reading, written assignment and/or experiential activities to equal the requirement for one credit.


Entry Requirement
  • Completed Form 5 or above
  • Meet the general admittance requirements of MBTS
  • Call to the helping field and exemplify some degree of helping skills


FEES
  • Application Fee (one time payment): RM100
  • Course Fee: RM85 ( KL, KV), RM70 (Penang)
  • Books, materials, etc are not included
