MASTER OF ARTS IN MISSIOLOGY
Course Aim: To train current and future missionaries as well as lecturers in missiology for seminaries and Bible colleges in Asia.
Prerequisites
A. Practical Experience. Those who apply for this degree must have field experience in missions. This might be domestic or foreign, though it need not be long-term service. Applicants for admission must submit documentation of field experience.
B. Call to missions. Those who expect to serve as field missionaries must give testimony of a call to missions in their application materials.
C. Academic Requirements. Applicants for this degree must hold a Bachelor of Theology degree or its equivalent. Applicants who hold a university degree are encouraged to enroll in the Master of Divinity program with concentration in missions.
Academic Format
The courses and seminars comprising this program will be taught in a modular format. That is, they will be offered as a series of two-week courses, one at a time. All the required courses for graduation will be offered within a twelve-month period by the seminary. Thus, those enrolling in this program can expect to finish their degree requirements in one year's time, assuming they take and pass all the courses offered.
